Originally known as Armistice Day, Veterans Day marked the end of World War I on November 11, 1918. The name of the holiday was changed decades later to honor all veterans from WWII to the Korean War. These brave men and women return home today with many challenges - physical, mental and societal. In November, WORLD Channel aims to bring attention to generations of veterans as they learn to cope, love and live as civilians again.
